Well, it's more a "remote control" for your app on the phone, so obviously you need internet connection to send and recieve messages.

It also works with Chromium, no need for Google stuff.

It also works with Symbian, Blackberry and WP, so pretty much every official client except on iOS.


I just tested it and it works pretty well with the Android app on Jolla. It's not a "real" chat, but typing WA messages with the computer keyboard is very appreciated
