I've installed the SDK. But I can't connect to the pebble... Normally this is done by the Developer Connection on the phone, but of course I don't have an Android device. That shouldn't be a problem, as you can connect directly from pc to Pebble by Bluetooth. However, I can't get that to work. I've installed the requirements, and running

$ pebble install --pebble_id 00:17:E9:AD:xx:xx

does bring up the pairing ritual on pc and pebble, but next I only get a time-out.

I can manually pair with the Pebble, and at some point it even remains connected (both desktop and pebble agree on that), but that's as far as it goes - the pebble command still yields timeouts. Weirder: the connection is broken and the Pebble is removed from the paired devices list on the desktop, (running Kubuntu 14.10 btw)

Has anyone got this to work? If not, a feature request: support the Developer Connection in PWCd Actually it's irregardless of getting the direct connection to work - it's a b*tch to set up. That Developer Connection seems much easier to work with.
