I do not use Google and yet I get Jolla ads blasted at me everywhere. I blame Amazon.

Still, the ads' presence indicates that Jolla has paid for the service and provided the banners. To Amazon or to Google, doesn't matter. I generally do not think very high of the companies that do that but in this case, my feelings are ambivalent.
