Hmm, no idea.
But it does the same on my N9.
Would guess some JS or html5 thingy that overloads grob?
(having same/similar quirks with grob as well as with microb but hopefully always differently, so I get to see everything )

But I do see the image shortly during the site is loading.
So as a workaround you might long-tap on the white are and then select 'open image in new window', that works!
