Are there any audiophiles among us??

I was looking at portable bluetooth speakers the other day.

I sort of put everything into 3 categories:
1- Extra Small, pocketable.
There's not many options here, and most are pretty bad. Low volume, no bass, distorted treble.

2- Small/Medium
Not pocketable. Easy to carry around on-hand with a tablet. Will fit into a drink holder in a car.
I think it should last a good 6 hours on its own, and be easy to use. Water resistance is highly desired.
NFC is meh. Removable battery and charging your phone is not necessary.
Heaps of choices. Many price points. Performance and battery life ranges vary wildly.

3 - Large
Too large/heavy to hold everywhere. Small enough to fit into a backpack with a laptop.
I think it should last a good 8+ hours (picnic/camp trip). You should be able to charge your phone from its big battery. Replaceable battery is highly desired (so you can prolong the products' lifetime). NFC is meh. Water resistance is desirable.
Heaps of choices. Mostly expensive. Performance is usually good. Battery life is wildly varying.

Then I came across this independent enthusiast:

So if anyone is looking for a good speaker, check this guy out. He's pretty active to questions and answers too. And he's not biased in the least. No everything BOSE makes isn't the best. And could be overpriced. I was just about to buy Logitec's UltimateEars Boom, because the reviews said it was good, it has a very long battery life, water resistant, 360' sound and simple use. This guy tests them quite professionally and he says they suck. So I'm looking to grab a Denon Envaya Mini... I just can't seem to find any in my country
