@val.
I found a long time ago ...most skin sites were becoming terrible...or were shutting down. I figured instead waiting for the day when I finally was resorting to picking one at a time through piles of poo. I'd start compiling the beast of all beasts of a skins repo. Took a mitey looooong time...finished the bulk of it almost a decade ago now.
Here is the result.
EVERY skin in one download.
hehe...yea..forgot about audacious...yea work for that player too of course.
(BTW I mentioned "winamp skin maker" as being one of the few progs that can preview skins... in bulk..by folder contents even )
You'll have fun with them I'm sure.
esp alot of the neon, flat, bubbled, 3d'd, pale, opaque, plain, sports, classic looking amplifiers , sound systems, environmentals, and classical skins such as cathedral, caesaramp, edo, colossus, manuscript and such.
@Kot - "shall i write a script to create previews from the skins?"
damn straight.
that sounds like a very very very very good idea. built in preview is better than wracking the brain trying to remem. ones you liked out of literally 1000's of skins .
It also means it would make it MUCH easier to make a short (haha) list of favourites ...best of the best ...according to personal tastes and have them on hand for whatever mood.
And keep the beastly rar in storage for when you get bored with your current list and want to change it up.
I don't expect anyone to like EVERYTHING in the monster rar.
BUT I KNOW there is tons of stuff everyone will love.
Also I feel better knowing I'm not the only person with this vast skinz repository and hence ...the more who have it...the less likely all this work is lost due to collapse of my personal storages or other unforeseen mishap.
Speaking of storages and stuff's ...I have a small bit of interesting collected bits I'll also put up on the drive for the n8x0...later.
