I discovered that one of my AC chargers has gone bad. Was putting out 1 or 2 volts. The other tested at about 7 volts.

The N800 would give the charging indication when I used the bad charger, sometimes cycling the indication on and off, but wasn't actually charging. The good charger would work as expected -- top up the battery in an hour or so.
