Majority of the stock apps still work. However, facebook and twitter have proplems as well as the maps and drive application. The problem is that nokia account cannot be newly created anymore, so you have to do some magic to get those work. But generally they do work. You also have to do some special stuff to make developer mode etc. activated because nokia repos are now down. But you can make it work. There are instructions here.

2. What cloud storage apps are available? Drive? OneDrive? Dropbox?

I have Dropbox working the last time I checked some weeks ago.

Yes, there are some things you need to do. At least in the beginning.




Couple of weeks ago I put down my Jolla and Lumia to try out how old N9 is doing. Yet again I was blown away how good the phone is to use for me. I still get the WOW effect of the elegance and simplicity of the Harmattan Swipe UI. Especially after you tune and tinker it to your liking. This phone simply is the best there is for me when I am considering the beauty, effortlessness, speed and usability of the UI. The only applications that are lacking for me, and have been since day one, are banking apps. For everything else, the N9 and Meego Harmattan still deliveres for me better than iOS/Android/Mikroshit or even Jolla.
