You know, if robots or computers or some combination take over the world its OK with me. I mean, if they are truly superior to humans it would seem like the right thing to happen from an evolutionary perspective. I'd just accept it as the normal course of events that take place over the history of the universe. However, the thing I find most troubling is that I don't get a sense the robots/computer would enjoy their accomplishments or have a sense of humour... Hopefully that characteristic is programmable into their OS. I would feel much better about the demise of the human race then.
