My steps to install GPE sucessfully with google calendar sync using Erminig
Install GPE from http://cobb.uk.net/NokiaIT/index.html#gpe
(everything except starling and in the order listed there)
Then install python 2.5 (make sure the application manager is closed) : http://pymaemo.garage.maemo.org/installation.html
and then install Erminig From here http://david.hautbois.free.fr/joomla...d=46&Itemid=46
