Ah, so this is two different questions, then? (The end of July still being two weeks away, you know. )

It seems to me that Jolla has for some time now prepared a schedule of events to roll out the tablet, once it was ready; that being a handful of developers receiving an early version, then sending an e-mail to contributors to set final details, then sending tablets out in order of who contributed first. I would think that they'll kick off this schedule the very instant they've got the supply issues worked out.

Given that there's probably no way to tell when the developer machines go out (if they haven't already), my guess is that unless something catastrophic happens, we'll be seeing the final details e-mail before we get any more blog updates. And yeah, the release of Sailfish 2.0 should occur roughly simultaneously, so we'll be lucky if this happens by the end of the month. Probably some time in the middle of next month, I would think...
