Ok, that caught my interest. What is special about the 25th of July? I've never heard of any Jolla schedule targeting that particular date... And, for that matter, what is so special about the tablet to the future of Jolla? As I understand it, Jolla saw an opportunity to release another hardware prototype with the help of Intel, and went for it. But the tablet does not represent (and never did represent) the heart of Jolla's business. That was always going to be licensing Sailfish, and we've seen that they're now off and running with that business model. Jolla's benefits from the tablet are (a) getting more recognition from the press and from the community at large, and (b) giving them experience setting up Sailfish on a tablet form-factor. I can't see it having ever been considered as a revenue generator for the company. (And I suspect they've already pulled in more resources with their first licensing agreement than they would have ever earned in profits from selling the tablet...)
