As I just write here I always use a N9, to be honest I'm back with E72, waiting for my new screen from parts4repair.

As you can see, I only had 5 phones, I don't really know anything about actual phones except that I don't want any OS from the "big 3" (Apple, MS, Google) for multiple reasons like privacy and others. that's why I have N9

In preference order, my wishes are :
- of course, phone / SMS / MMS
- Battery life
- Off line GPS, nokia/here/ovi ?!? map is great
- Mails
- NOT Taller than N9 ! 4" screen is enough !

E72 is my favorite form factor phone but OS is so old and I think the Blackberry Classic should do the trick.

Of course, I would prefer a Jolla/sailfish but Jolla phone is too big.

I can't see anything about sailfish phones in upcoming months ... Sailfish port on other phones is more a proof of concept than an alternative so, perhaps BB will have my choice.

I really hope I should be able to wait, thank to my ability to replace my N9 screen, until Jolla gives me a 4" phone or a BB like form factor phone like in my dreams !?!
