Hmm, do not that much about qml...

But I found only that in ListPickSelector:
/*!

property alias currentIndex: view.currentIndex
and that
onStatusChanged: if (status == DialogStatus.Open) view.positionViewAtIndex(currentIndex, ListView.Center);
onCurrentIndexChanged: if (view.currentItem) currentValueText = view.currentItem.text;
onSelected: accept()
