Okay it is running. But with error message.

Error Operation not permitted (1) writing to i2c
Failed to read ID information

and no output written.

I am on stock kernel (PR1.3,
~ # uname -r
2.6.32.54-dfl61-20121301
). As root , and in develsh.
So I guess open mode is needed?
