Actually I found that the proto n900 armband didn't take up much space at all.
The critical thing is in the flexibility, shock absorption and toughness of the antler half-shell top.
Since on the arm...it is likely that any device will get bumped, smacked, hit, etc. Mind...it seemed safer there on my arm than in my pockets, pack, or set down somewhere where that or worse could happen to it just as easily....
Being a fan of futurama...
there were a few sitches where her armband was not an asset...
yeah leela did have some funk issues

and her armband rebelled at one point too.. if I recall...
