Hm.
Perhaps we need a recipe thread corner here...
I do have some fabulous recipes of my gran and great gran ..
pinch of this dash of that ...
easy to do ...real feel good food...meatloafs, shepherd's pies, chowders, good food. few simple basic ingredient's ...simple instructions...mouth drooling foods...

On the odd end of the recipe spectrum...
my great gran lived waaayyyy up north...
so has recipes for porcupine, beaver, moose, all kinds of interesting recipes one normally cannot find the produce for in stores...
