I'm well aware of what it says. And it doesn't change the fact that Indiegogo is a donation site. All that says is that if the campaign owner has promised a perk (and the campaign is successful) then they have a legal obligation to deliver. But even then, Indiegogo pass the buck.

If they don't so promise then bad luck. And Jolla didn't. For example, they stated very clearly on the campaign page under the Availability and Delivery section:

Sorry if this is hard to understand. To be fair, it's because Indiegogo does its very best to make campaigns look like eshops. But, as their terms and conditions succinctly state "Perks are not offered for sale"

The terms and conditions also clearly state that "Indiegogo does not represent that Campaign Owners will deliver Perks or that Contributions will be used as described in the Campaign. Users use the Services at their own risk"
