I couldn't agree more... and I'm American.

I think it's high time that another country steps in, preferably neutral or a developing country perhaps, and they address the woes about the environment, resource allocation and of course wealth allocation. The issues affect the developing countries more and immediately than it does developed countries.

If I were a developing country, I'd hold my resources close much like a nest egg/treasure chest and bargain futures as opposed to trying to enrich myself today with no future planned.

But greed renders this endeavor almost impossible.

Leadership needs to actually work for the betterment of the people and the environment with profits not in the mix. But then again, that's still stepping towards a post scarcity society. We'll never get there unfortunately (full circle).
