just a question out of curiosity. It's been bugging me and since I know squinto about the OS08 and/or Linux (though I was proud that I FINALLY remembered 'halt' from my old Solaris days...easy way to turn the tablet off while in xterm...)
But anyway, even if you are able to get your dongle running over the OTG adapter, what happens to the power management for the device?
I mean great you can get an ethernet connection or even in my case hook up my wifi evdo modem. Will one get better battery life running over wifi to a pocket/travel router which is wired/connected the whatever network vs. directly wiring in or connecting via the USB port. From what I am seeing the wifi power management is actually pretty good. And I am assuming there will be zero, zilch, nada power mangement for devices over the USB port.
So, as cool as this is, is there really any advantage? If there is no PM then it's doubly important since, under certain loads, the battery seems to drain slightly faster then the charger can replenish the power.
