Ok, am I just an idiot for trying to solder a microUSB port back on to the N900? Is that just mission impossible?

So far spent a few hours with no luck. The design of the area around the microUSB does not exactly make it easy to do soldering work there. And then its ofcourse the design of the microUSB itself.

But theoretically it should be possible. Right?
