Default random string passwords for access points are one of my pet hates. It's a shame more people don't know how to change the SSID/PW, it's especially frustrating when the device is somewhere that people have to add new devices all the time (cafes, holiday homes etc.)

I agree that's terrible design though, it's not always possible to change the PW to something sensible.
