Hang on a minute. Are you saying that this post was about UT? Forgive me for thinking it was about Jolla. All the things you mention there sound uncannily familiar.

Just because companies A and B do it does not mean that company C has to do it too. I was and still am strongly against Jolla doing it. I find it wrong on so many levels I would not know where to start. To be honest, Ubuntu doing it surprises me less than Jolla.
