All I'm asking for from Nokia is a faster satellite fix and I'll buy the wayfinder product. I found it usable on my 7 day trial. Sure, it doesn't have all the bells and whistles, but it's workable with every day use and that's all I need. If Nokia can just make it initially lock on faster, I'll tolerate the wayfinder software's limitations in comparison to Tomtom, Garmin, etc. The point is I'm carrying a convergence device with built in maps and possible gps routing loaded with 20 movies on it, 30 TV shows, 35 e-books, 350 songs ( 8GB + 4 GB mini cards), I've been using skype for phone calls, I'm using GPE with basic calender, a to do list, and all my contacts are on it. I'm using google docs for word processing, and I've got all my pictures on it and I've also got it tethered to a bluetooth phone for non wi-fi locations. The perfect scenario for me is to have this GPS issue improved because I'm tired of having to carry too many devices everywhere, so the wayfinder software is worth it to me to avoid the hassle of losing or getting another device stolen. I even purchased a car charger and the nokia window mount, but not the software yet. Figure that one out!! The poor sat lock, no matter what's been suggested on this forum to try to solve it, is a deal breaker for me and if Nokia can find a way to improve this issue, then I'll be a customer of wayfinder. If not, I guess I'll have to reevaluate my options.
