Effective communication doesn't need to follow all of the rules that would possibly apply; however misspells do tend to muddle your message. I think if we were to enforce every grammar rule, we'd have no more time for gadgets, programming or much of anything.

English is a very flawed language. English is a "mutt" language in fact. So let's just try to concentrate on helping others to remove possible obstacles in understanding what they're trying to say and mean. That's why I correct Dave. It's not to prove a point that my English is superior to his. I do it to assist him (and others) to remain easy to understand as part of this discussion forum.

Feel free to dissect the above. I know that I inevitably used something wrong. But I can only hope that my message remains clear.
