It is an incentive to use native apps in preference to alien ones, but is it really an incentive to develop native ones? I am not quite sure and would not argue either way.

Also, if you have a pretty native app that does 20% of the functionality versus an ugly alien one doing 100%, which one would you choose? We see the answers on TJC: the most common suggestion for the best browser is... Firefox on Android
