After a whole lot of work setting up my networking, I finally got x forwarding to work from Ubuntu to the 770.

It was quite a feat to get it all running, because I'm running WinXP, running Ubuntu in VMWare, and the 770 ad-hoc networked to XP through a USB wifi card. Getting the VMWare networking and adhoc wireless networking in windows to see each other was a total PITA!

Anyway, now I have it working, but everything comes up in the small window, so you can see the normal hildon interface side and top bars.
Does anyone know if there is a way (no matter how hacky) to get something to run full screen?

Interesting thing is, when i start up a certain app, it says "you are running below our recommended screen size of 800x600, you are running 800x480", so apparently the full screen resolution is reported to the applications.
