Why did you not install fMMS if you use MMS that often? (I have probably send/received your monthly amount in my lifetime )

Normally they flag a number to be able to receive, so probably you missed those MMS due to the 'step forward' (your number flagged as able to receive and your provider does not take care of anymore?).

But the most ashaming and annoying is that those helpdesk assistants normally just know how to type in your words into a search interface. And have no idea about the product (in this case: mobile network)!
And even more disgusting: we (the masses) just keep silent and accept this behaviour of the big companies.

I know about fMMS but have not installed it, as N900 is not my daily driver. I realized too late that I am going to be missing MMS'es and placed my trust into being able to fetch them later via the weblink way...

Nice that Vodafone still does that, Elisa has lost the ability to mists of timeeee...
And I fully agree to that, it is unexcusable for companies to discontinue useful services like that; I cannot really see how much can they save dropping the MMS recovery service for example!
(well of course they save couple kiloeuros in maintanance costs if they drop feature like that when changing platforms for example, but thats just peanuts to them robbers...)
