ooo good plan.

I actually started on another hack... turns out that while an app is open, all the stuff on the top 60 px is actually the windows title bar (just like a normal desktop window title bar) with extra UI stuff on it. In the theme you can set it to "0" height, and get the full 460 px window height the only catch is that the 'status' icons (battery, net, sound, etc) still show up overlayed on top.

The left bar isnt part of the matchbox theme, but I think those can be removed/hidden too... mucking with the theme is fun
