I think taking all copies of wayfinder code from the programmers so it's no longer in their possession would be stealing, and much worse than cracking.

They're both pretty lame things to do, but I don't agree that cracking or piracy is the same as stealing.

But whatever, I don't think Wayfinder is worth buying, stealing, or cracking.. I just hate it when someone says something that isn't stealing is the same as stealing. Maybe there's another word we could use that sounds worse than "cracking", or "copying", but more technically correct.
