Looks like it could be useful surviving changing IP addresses, lag, etc considering how mobile we are between our handheld computers on 3G and the mobile embedded devices our hacker Maemo remnant likes to play with.
Maybe someone with a dev account could see about throwing the server and client source into the autobuilder?
It is already in the Ubuntu repos.
