In defence of Replicant, unlike Maemo and Sailfish, it is entirely free. Although I do find it a bit ironic that the FSF won't endorse the Neo900 because the baseband requires closed firmware, yet they promote Replicant which must be used on devices that have the exact same problem. runs on hardware that is more closed than the Neo900.
