I would like to submit my app, PingYou. It is (or rather, will be) a Telepathy based XMPP client for SailfishOS.



I've focused on implementing features missing from the default Jolla client, which is also Telepathy based. At present, it does a few useful things that you can't do with the Jolla client, namely:

• Advanced account management - I've exposed more of the connection settings than Jolla's settings module lets you see.
• Roster management - add, remove and block contacts, and manage presence publication and subscription. Still experimenting, but I think Telepathy does blocking using XEP-0016 Privacy Lists instead of the newer XEP-0191 Blocking Command.
• Avatars - using the app you can see your contacts' avatars, and set your own. Note that there is more than one XEP for avatars - Telepathy uses XEP-0153 vCard based avatars whereas Conversations uses XEP-0084 User Avatar (via XEP-0163 Personal Eventing Protocol).

You can't actually use it to chat yet!
