It is my daily driver since 2011 when I bought it. Most sites I need work just fine in microb. On mine, Opera is memory hog.
And yes, it is a communication's device for me.
I do have an SGS4 for WhatsApp purposes (simply because my dad gave me the phone), but that's where its use ends. Everything else happens on N900, including all my email use.
IRC ... N900. Skype ... N900. Lync at work ... N900 (i tried Lync app for Android on SGS4, and found it unreliable compared to Pidgin's implementation)
Anyway yes, ymmv - we all need different things in life, and that's why it's so good to have variety.
Life would be dull if everyone owned a BMW/Merc/whatever brand :-)
