what is out there currently is hardly "greatest"
I will go maemo leste ...once it functions on device ...suitably...that is... that has no probs...
Once all the bugs are worked out for the n900...I will probably install and carry on with the new maemo os...
That is most likely what I will do to continue the linux maemo daily driver routine I have been in for years now...

Unless or until a device comes out with the next gen linux smartphone OS...
(And I don't count the pitiful attempts which have garnered few apps , poor customer service , etc...as a current option.)
And so I am not holding my breath on this possibility..any time in the near future...

Soooo...good old maemo4 and maemo5 it is ...
and soon maemo7 Leste (or is it maemo8?....since maemo6 is Harmattan....I can't keep track of all these new-fangled maemoeses .) .

(Geez...I still can't wrap my brain around the asking prices for n8x0's currently...and people are ACTIVELY watching these ebay listings...Like they are hovering over n8x0's and can't wait to spend $300 for any of the ones I got for $10-$20 not 5-8 years ago...and that were going for about that ....not a year or two ago now...

Still...I suppose if there are so few in circulation ..available for sale...then ...it makes sense the prices asked for them...)
