No, no, I installed the older version to compare it with the actual 3.0.34. With the 3.0.34 I have no blinking on the user interface and there is no message "Patch failed".

Now I take your advice and clean up the system.

[Update] With reinstalling 3.0.34 the messages appear on the gui. My system seems to be a bit scrubby...
