Hi fellow Canola lovers! ,

I am looking forward to trying this new version on my N810/OS2008.

I uninstalled the previous version I had. After that I ran Canola cleanup (maybe this was a mistake, but it's done now ).
Then I tried to install this latest version but it shows "not installable" and indicates that python2.5 (=2.5.1-1osso3) is missing. However, I do have python2.5-dev (=2.5.1-1osso3) for ipython and also have
python2.5-runtime (c1.0-2).

Sooo, what do I do now? Do I need to still get python2.5? Where? Will it conflict with my other python2.5 installs?

Thanks!
Hi we have noticed that some users have "devel" repositories that uses higher version than us for some libs, this can break straight the canola dependencies.

But, if you have iPython installed, you probably handling well with command line right? can you try to remove manually the other pythons packages, and reboot, and then trying installing canola2 first then iPython?

Also, disable any "not official" repositories just to make sure.
