Generally, not really. Better nutrition and health care today gives the possibility of growing a healthier and more able brain, but that is probably offset by the modern living which does not exactly require a functional brain... and so our minds stagnate.

Evolution is pretty slow process and especially the brain has not changed that much during the latest 50000 years.
