Victoria...the provincial capital of British .Columbia is located on the southern end of Vancouver Island.
Beautiful city...really...well designed ..lots of trees...lots of waterfront...lots to do...
Lovely place...
The commute to Nanaimo from Victoria however is horrifying ..
Travel over the Malahat is jaw clenching...
The number of accidents and fatalities on the highway pass every year is not an encouragement to travel...
It is fast back to back traffic going around insane corners.
