The F(x) is a whole team. It is not comparable with vaporware like the Neo900. If you work hard, you can achieve good results with a limited time frame (see for example the GPD)

Care to explain a bit more so we can know what we are talking about here. What team? Appox how big? How hard are they working compated to garage project? What kind off support do they have? Do they have external funding? What time frame did GPD worked with? What kind of connection do they have to youYota? Friends, colleagues, same city? Same country?

Do they even have a product?

I have absolutely no idea any of that.
