Man, I love track #31. It simply kicks ***.

And, Karel... you're totally right. It goes radically uphill after track 9.

I couldn't resist and as soon as it got out, opted for the deluxe version ($75).

And if I hadn't been a dad recently, I would surely have bought the $300 version. If there's an artist that truly deserves it - especially with the "business" model he opted for - it's Trent.

I was totally convinced so after having watched Tool (my then favourite band) live, being disgusted by their overall attitude (and I had seen them before, and had loved the previous concert) and then watching NiN live for the first time a few weeks later... They played 3 gigs on 3 straight days here, and I had the luck of being able to watch them all. Trent and his crew were simply incredible, even playing through a major lighting failure on one occasion.

Actually, by doing the maths, I can pretty much pinpoint my kid's conception to the concert's date :P

So there you go, my kid's a NiN fan for life

Also, in what was Trent's first "test drive" into digitally releasing music on his own, check out Saul Williams' "Niggy Tardust". It's different, but has Trent's paws all over, and it's a very good album as well, even if you're not much into the kind of music Saul usually made.
