There are mentions of changes related to "MSM8998" in the freshly released Linux 5.0 changelog (see https://www.cnx-software.com/2019/03...m-mips-risc-v/ for example). So it is actively being developed in mainline. This is encouraging !

Are there some linux guru there that know what kind of support is already there for this platform ? Like any other phone with this SD835 booting with linux ?
