Hello, I have bought a Nokia N900 with firmware version 3.2010.02-8.203.1 and want to install the latest official Nokia firmware without flashing the device, like recommended before installing the latest stable CSSU (
http://wiki.maemo.org/CSSU
).
I installed maemo.muarf.org mirror repositories (
http://wiki.maemo.org/Repository#Mir...ion_manager.29
) but when I use the application manager to search for updates, I cannot see any firmware update, is it normal?
When I use the command "apt-get update", I can see that the GPG keys of maemo.muarf.org are expired, maybe this issue is related?
When I try "apt-get dist-upgrade", it asks to remove a lot of packages like Adobe Flash Player (see attachment).
Is it normal that all these packages will be removed? Is it safe to upgrade the firmware with "apt-get dist-upgrade" instead of using the application manager?
Thanks.
