For Image tagging mp3 i found "MusicBrainz Picard" on desktop to be most convenient.
You can scan online DBs for cover art and mass assign them to folders with that.
If you got your own images you just want to assign, i use EasyTAG on linux.

To update sfos on any device i switched to use and recommend Olfs sfos-upgrade script since it checks for the known dealbreakers and has nice logging.

Afaiu it is safe to update now that Adam fixed the camera issues yesterday, supplying the two commands @storma linked in the SFOS Pro¹ thread.
