I don't think it was in the documentation anywhere. My situation was that I had an IMAP server where I didn't want to have "Drafts" and "Queue" folders cluttering up my home directory on the server. I was lucky enough to read a thread by some other intelligent forum members who figured it out. I thought the technique might work for you. (I can't seem to find that post anymore though...)
