Yeah, that's a good point, I hadn't thought this through. However, I suppose one could argue the speed jump from 330mhz to 400mhz which came with OS2008 was effectively a generational upgrade (though quite an unusual one as it was applicable to the previous device too).

OS2008 has definitely only just arrived though, so it's hard to believe they'd dump that a few months after it launched. Presumably if an upgraded tablet arrived soon it would still run OS2008, just a bit faster than the N8XX.

This all depends of course on how well the tablets are selling. If they're flying off the shelves then Nokia has more incentive to come up with new models.
