1) Not sure if im right but it seems its just the issue of getting an initial gps lock, which is fixed by holding it at a 90˚ angle or something like that. There is a forum somewhere around here that explains it.

that ˚ took me like 5 mins to figure out on Xunbuntu! LOL, cntrl+shift+u then input the unicode. Is it easier to input such characters on NIT's?

Just curious doesn't the non-transreflective screen on the n800 bother you?
