Yes, but my computer was off. How could it download the podcasts?

Obviously I don't know as I don't have your super mobile internet connection that works miles away from transmitters and underground.
We have transmitters in the subway, as well as in the countryside. No 3G yet, but GPRS and EDGE are there. I find it difficult to imagine an urban place that does not have these nowadays.

Podcasts are made by hundreds of different people on hundreds of different subjects. Some have indexes on the page you get them for, some have audio indexes, some just say what is coming up.
So, you basically need a separate webpage to navigate podcasts? Umgh.

It is about choice. Just because you don't want that choice, doesn't mean that it isn't valid and will die out.
Why is it that every time somebody has to defend utterly purposeless things, the "choice" argument comes up? Yea, you obviously have a choice and it is good to have a choice, no argument here. The argument is about whether this particular choice is any better than other choices.
