My experience is that if it is a software bug, they fix it in the next release of the software. Like any other software group, they will assign someone to examine it, determine the priority, and release a fix on the next release.

In some cases where they need more information, they will ask for it, but do not expect an immediate (or any) kind of direct, personal response.
