Not sure if anyone has posted this as I can't find anything about it on the search.
Just got my N800 yesterday and so far I love it. Got it upgraded to OS2008 with no problem. It says I have Opera 8 installed.
So heres the issue... I went to my favorite site (pogo.com) to play some games. Pogo uses Java for running their games online. When you load the game, it says you need Java and to go to their site to download for Linux. I tried downloading all the Linux self extracting files but can't install through the application manager. So some more research, I found out I need to install it manually. Tried to use X Terminal, but it won't let me in the root as I have no idea what the password would be.
Fact is... I know nothing about Linux. I have been searching for some guidelines on how to accomplish this but no luck so far. I would be greatful for any instructions or guidance. I don't need to use anything else Java at this time... I just want it to work in Internet pages.
